Michael the Archangel threw Satan from Heaven.  He is the most powerful angel.  More powerful than the devil himself.
 
God promised the Archangel's would protect us on our journey through life. We can ask Mary, the mother of our God, to intercede with her son on our behalf. To invoke the Archangel's help. Both spiritual and physical.
